Sarah Viconi
My name is Sarah Viconi and I am the founder and educator with Dementia Navigation, Education and Training Services. I am a Continuing Care Assistant and have worked with people with Dementia for over 15 years, 12 of those years providing care on a secured Dementia unit within a long-term care facility. Throughout my years of service, I have found Dementia both fascinating and challenging. With a desire to improve my abilities to work more successfully with these individuals I furthered my studies and became a Certified Dementia Care Provider. I have been applying my newly gained knowledge and existing experiences and have seen incredible results, inculding a decrease in Resident incident reports. The most rewarding result is a sense of peace among the people under my care.
